Our group of dedicated and competitive members train throughout the winter for the Canadian National Dodgeball Championships – held each spring. We play with 7” foam balls using the WDBF Rule Set. Tryouts/Tournaments are organized every fall.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nationals 2020 was deferred to 2022. The championship will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from June 16 to June 19, 2022. More information on the tournament can be found here:

Saskatchewan Dodgeball has the privilege of sending two Men’s and two Women’s teams to respresent Team Sask.

Registration is now OPEN! Athletes trying out are encouraged to attend both tryout dates, however if you cannot attend both, one will be acceptable. The tryouts will be held at Wilfred Hunt School, 101 Mayfield Road, Regina Sask.

Tryouts will be held as an individual selection process for the Mens teams (KHAOS and HAVOK) as well as the Womens team (STORM). Athletes will be divided into teams and play a series of games, during which you will be evaluated by individuals designated by Sask Dodgeball. Athletes will be evaluated on throwing power and accuracy, dodging, agility, leadership, communication and overall dodgeball awareness.

Fees for registration are $35, which is good for both tryout dates. Registration fees cover an individual membership to Dodgeball Canada as a High-Performance Athlete as well as facility/administration fees. Registrations and fees will be open until March 13th, 2022.

Tryouts and Nationals will be following WDBF Foam Style Rules, which can be found for review here: https://www.dodgeballcanada.org/rules

Upon being selected to one of the Provincial Teams you will be expected to be available to attend the Dodgeball Canada National Championship the weekend of June 16th to 19th in Edmonton, participate in 80% of weekly practices (held on Thursday evenings at Wilfred Hunt School), weekly group training sessions (held on Monday or Tuesday Evening, TBD) and 1-2 possible practice tournaments with other provinces (TBD). Fees for Nationals and facilities for practice for each player will be dependent on the total number of players accepted to the teams. Optional fundraising will be available to all provincial team members to help offset the travel costs of attending Nationals.

We are also looking for evaluators to assist Sask Dodgeball in selecting the provincial teams. If you are unable to commit to the provincial teams but would like to be an evaluator for the tryouts, please email [email protected].
